Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service.

Account information: If you sign in to use Community or Team Spaces features, we collect your email address and display name via our authentication provider (Supabase).

Payment information: When you subscribe to Klexer Pro, your payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay (India) or Whop (International). We receive only a confirmation of your subscription status — we never see or store card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details.

What we do not collect: We do not collect your code, AI conversation history, API keys, file contents, or usage telemetry. The app operates locally on your machine.

2. How We Use It

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Authenticate your account and restore your session across devices
• Verify your subscription status and unlock Klexer Pro features
• Respond to support requests you send us
• Send transactional emails (subscription confirmations, password resets)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

3. Your API Keys

Klexer Codev is a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) application. Any API keys you enter (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) are stored only in your local device's credentials store and are never transmitted to our servers.

Your API usage costs are governed by your agreement with the respective AI provider. Klexer has no visibility into your API consumption or spend.

4. Payments

Subscriptions in India are processed by Razorpay. International subscriptions are processed by Whop. Both are PCI-DSS compliant payment processors subject to their own privacy policies. We receive only the minimum information necessary to confirm your subscription status.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Klexer:

• Supabase — Authentication and database for Community and Team Spaces. Data is stored on servers in accordance with Supabase's privacy policy.
• Razorpay — Payment processing for India subscribers.
• Whop — Payment processing for international subscribers.
• Cloudflare — Website hosting and DNS for klexer.ai.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (for example, payment records for tax compliance).

7. Your Rights

You may request at any time:

• Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — removal of your account and associated data
• Portability — export of your data in a machine-readable format

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure credential storage. However, no system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Children

Klexer Codev is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
