Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and CodekinsTech ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of Klexer Codev and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you confirm you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. The Service

Klexer Codev is a desktop AI coding assistant that operates on your local machine. The Service allows you to connect your own AI API keys and use them within a unified interface.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will give reasonable advance notice for significant changes that affect paid subscribers.

3. API Keys & Third-Party AI Costs

Klexer Codev is a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) application. You are responsible for:

• Obtaining your own API keys from AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.)
• All costs incurred through your API usage with those providers
• Complying with the terms of service of each AI provider whose API you use
• Keeping your API keys secure and not sharing them

We have no visibility into your API usage or spend. Any billing disputes related to AI API costs must be resolved directly with the respective provider.

4. Subscription & Billing

Klexer Pro is a paid subscription plan that unlocks additional features including ProForge tools, Brain features, and Team Spaces.

Pricing is as follows:

• India: ₹1,499 per user per month, billed monthly via Razorpay
• International: $18 per user per month, billed monthly via Whop

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase if you are not satisfied. After this period, subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period.

To request a refund within the 7-day window, email contactcodekinstech@gmail.com with your purchase details. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Circumvent or violate the terms of service of any AI provider
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service beyond what is permitted under our open core license
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service or its connected infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Klexer Codev software, the Klexer name, logo, and all related marks are owned by CodekinsTech. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks without prior written permission.

Code and content you create using the Service belongs to you. We make no claim to ownership of your work product.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodekinsTech's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 8, and 10) will continue to apply.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
